About Us

Our Pinelands workshops offer weekly sessions for parents/nannies with their babies and toddlers. We run morning and afternoons groups as well as on Saturday for the working parents.

Our age appropriate programmes are designed to stimulate your child’s gross motors skills - through specially designed equipment, and fine motors skills - using especially selected educational games and activities which can be followed up at home. We also focus on the development of perceptual and social-emotional skills which the child will need later on when going to school.

The workshops aim to help the parents become more aware of the sequential nature of the child’s developmental stages and help you to assist your child to explore each stage.

Since children learn through games and play and enjoy movement and touch, we created an environment in which your child is exposed to variety of tactile experiences which explore a range of touch and creative games and play. Music, songs and movement are integrated throughout each session to encourage development of vestibular and balance, creative movement, and exploring different rhythmic concepts using musical instruments.

In addition to the workshops, Little Acorns playschool also offers a drop - and - collect playschool programme for children ages 2 - 4 years old from 08.30am to 12.00 midday.
